I had great results with my first Stitch Fix, and really wanted to try another round of maternity items. My previous fix, I ended up buying all the items and I still wear most of them frequently. This time, I asked for more nursing-friendly pieces, since we don’t have too far to go till the due date (Sept. 24th) and I want some items I can wear afterward.
#2 – Blue Maxi Dress – Returned
This was really pretty, but I didn’t think it was that flattering with the bump. Also, a great nursing dress but the over $80 price tag was a bit high for me.
#3 – Patterned Nursing Dress – Returned
This would also be great for nursing, but didn’t fit me well right now, and I wanted something I could wear right away.
#4 – Maxi Skirt – Returned
I’m not a big fan of maxi skirts, and this one wasn’t a good length or fit for the bump.
#5 – Wrap Dress – Returned
I’ll be honest and say I don’t know how to tie a wrap dress. I felt like it could fly open with it only being held together by a piece of string.
Overall, I felt like none of the pieces were very flattering with a bump, although they may fit well later on.
The only one I would have possibly kept was the blue maxi dress, but it would have had to fit perfect for the price.

I think they're all adorable on you but I get it – sometimes the price doesn't justify the amount of times you'll wear a dress or the comfort.
I love wrap dresses too but NEVER feel confident wearing them. Always waiting for them to fall right open.

I liked most of the dresses on you, but I am always self conscious about the bump too. I have the same qualm with wrap dresses and I hate maxi skirts on me as well. I feel like every time I see a Stitch Fix review, the prices turn me away.

I always love seeing what people get in these posts. Such a bummer that you weren't loving anything you got this time around- the maxi dress is so pretty, but definitely on the pricier side for something you weren't totally loving.

Aw, that's too bad. I actually really liked the blue maxi dress on you, but I guess it's hard to shop for after the bump while you still have it. 😛 And from what I've seen of other people's posts, Stitch Fix does seem to be a little bit expensive (part of the reason I haven't tried it!). Better luck next time!

I think that first blue dress is gorgeous on you, but if the price doesn't work then it's definitely not worth it! Sorry this round was a bust!

I really love the blue maxi dress and I think it's looks cute! But that is a little pricy. Did you ask them for so many dresses? I don't wear dresses that often anymore since being on the floor so much with the kids. I did a maternity Stich-Fix and got one nice maternity t-shirt but overall I haven't had much success with them. I also tried a nursing clothes subscription box called Mama's Milk Box but ended up sending everything back and swore off subscription clothing boxes forevermore after that.

Awww that sucks you returned it all, I think a lot of this stuff looks SO cute on you! but those prices are crazy! O_O I think I am just too used to shopping the clearance racks for all of my clothes haha I hope you have better luck with the next box! 🙂

bummer about the fix. I like the maxi dress, but it is expensive! Holy cow. I think with most wrap dresses there is a tiny slot in one side, where you feed the little string through, and it comes back out to tie on the outside, so you have a much larger space where nothing will get shown if it flies over! hehe XO – Alexandra
