I hope you’re having a fabulous Friday! Yesterday I tried to turn off the lights in one room by turning them on in another room, and I had a dream that a Petsmart worker cut off all my hair. Pregnancy brain is weird. I am actually working this weekend again, but I still have lots of things I am excited about.
I’m going to an event today that I wanted to look nice for, and I knew that I would prefer to wear a dress. However, I don’t have any dresses that I am comfortable in right now and that would be acceptable attire, so I checked Old Navy and got lucky that they had a few maxi dresses. This one is really soft, fit well, and I will be comfortable enough there that I should be able to wear it all day.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m from the South, but when I see a biscuit slathered with butter and jelly, I cannot help myself. I made these last weekend and they are so yummy.. I drool just looking at pictures of biscuits. I admit that sometimes I will sit at work and stare at recipes for an hour or two, planning for later. I stocked a bunch of these up in my freezer, so that I can have a biscuit stash when needed.
Favorite Health/Beauty Items:
It’s safe to say I bought this mascara strictly because it had unicorns on it. I was in Target, minding my own business, when I was suddenly confronted with pretty unicorns and I was powerless. It turns out it is a really good mascara. I’ve tried it a couple times so far and it’s worked well. It has a twisty part at the top so that you apply it twice – first for length, and then for volume. It really does give me longer-looking lashes.
I also bought Pacifica sea foam face wash, because it had been out of stock for some time at my Target and when I saw it was back, I scooped it up. This stuff smells heavenly. I am scent-sensitive right now, and I love the way this smells. It’s light, sweet, clean, and sea-like.
I went for a run and actually did three miles! It was alternating running/walking, but it’s the most I’ve done in a while! We had absolutely beautiful weather after several days of rain and clouds, so I was antsy to get outside, and I ran like an antelope. At least, I felt like I ran like an antelope. In reality, I probably ran like a drunken squirrel, but it felt amazing.
